Every year, we take time as a team to step away from the daily grind and enjoy the beauty of nature, laughter, and togetherness. This year’s Nabepero Philippines Annual Company Outing was held at SaDagat Beach Camp in Medellin, Cebu. A refreshing escape far from the city, but absolutely worth the ride.
The moment we arrived, the beach vibes, calm sea, and scenic surroundings instantly set the tone. It was a day for unwinding, bonding, and simply enjoying each other’s company in the best way possible.
Our outing kicked off with a group lunch by the beach, filled with good food and ice-cold drinks that hit the spot under the summer sun. Bellies full, we jumped into our mini program, starting with games that brought out the team’s playful spirit.
First up was the Cookie Face Challenge, which had everyone in fits of laughter as we tried to slide cookies from our foreheads into our mouths, using only facial expressions (and a whole lot of concentration). Next was the Marshmallow Challenge, where things got hilariously sticky. Let’s just say, the amount of laughter echoing through the beach camp could rival the waves crashing nearby. Our tummies were sore from laughing so hard and we loved it. Seeing our colleagues in their competitive (and silly) glory was a memory we won’t soon forget.
We also took time to recognize excellence, awarding MVPs from each department with certificates of appreciation. A small gesture for the big impact they’ve made. Our winning game teams received prizes too, adding even more joy to the day.
The rest of the afternoon was all about free time: swimming, singing, jamming on the guitar, sharing stories, and soaking up the sun and salt air. There was no pressure, no deadlines. Just the chance to breathe and bond as one team.
At Nabepero Philippines, these outings remind us that people are at the heart of everything we do. It’s not just about taking a break, it’s about building memories, deepening connections, and growing stronger together.
